Mynhardt van der Walt

Managing Director

Mynhardt has a distinguished career as a leader within the information technology and security environments. With a solid foundation in the automotive and travel industries, Mynhardt honed his skills across various executive and leadership positions where he solidified his reputation as a forward-thinking leader in the digital landscape. A graduate of GIBS Business School, Mynhardt has a keen focus on cybersecurity, cloud computing and IT strategy, and embarked on a new chapter as Managing Director of Beyond Cyber in September 2021.

Delfim Alves

Executive Director

Delfim brings a wealth of experience in Information Technology to his role as Executive Director at Beyond Cyber. Delfim began his career as a fitter and turner artisan before joining Olivetti as a technician, where he repaired office automation products such as typewriters and word processors. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his first IT company, Computer Solutions, in the early 1990s in the Vaal Triangle. He sold this company to Pinnacle Micro in 1994 and subsequently served as Managing Director for their Gauteng region. In 1998, Delfim founded Bromide Technologies, which was sold to EOH in 2007. Delfim then managed the Infrastructure Technology business unit within EOH until 2016. His entrepreneurial ventures continued as he funded and mentored several startups, including Obscure Technologies, a distributor of cybersecurity products and solutions, which was sold to Alviva Holdings in 2018.

Stephanie van As

Chief Operations Officer

Stephanie oversees Beyond Cyber’s daily operations, focusing on sales, projects, finance and customers and partner relationships. With a 16-year career in the ICT industry, Stephanie has garnered invaluable experience across various roles in sales, administration, finance, and project management. This extensive background has equipped her with the expertise to lead teams and execute end-to-end solutions for clients, delivering substantial value in her current role. Her ability to blend strategic vision with operational execution has been a key factor in her success, particularly in building and maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring their needs are met. Stephanie sees the future of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT strategy as being shaped by ongoing innovation, regulatory developments, and evolving business needs. She believes that organisations that stay ahead of these trends, invest in the right technologies, and adopt a proactive approach will thrive in the digital era.
